VSU President Dr. Edgardo Tulin will host the awarding ceremony as a prelude to the university’s 64th Commencement Exercises on June 14 at the Upper Oval Grounds. Once a part of the graduation proper, the tribute is now its own event.

The VSU Registrar’s Office released the tentative list of honors on June 9 with other 1,317 graduates for school year 2017-2018. The number is expected to increase in light of the recent decision of the Council of Deans to extend the graduation deadline.

With a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 1.185, Therese C. Ratilla, Bachelor of Economics, will lead the graduating batch as Class Valedictorian. She will be marching as Summa Cum Laude with 11 Magna Cum Laude and 126 Cum Laude honorees.
