On the other hand, LSU designed its own curriculum for CWTS based on the CHED's suggestions. Its features are:
  1. The CWTS is designed to be completed for one (1) year or two (2) semesters;

  2. Each semester of the course is credited for three (3) units;

  3. The maximum contact hours for each semester is sixty (60);

  4. The first semester of the course includes the topics of Self Awareness and Value Development; Basic Leadership Training and Team Building; Dimensions of Development which includes, environmental issues and concerns, health, gender, sexuality and reproductive health, entrepreneurship; and Community Needs Assessment. They are designed either a lecture or a workshop and film showing; and,

  5. The second semester focused on community projects where the students will implement in their assigned barangay in partnership with the barangay council and community residents.
