The Department of Agricultural
Engineering at VSU as a center of excellence
in education and research in agricultural engineering offers
both the Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering (BSAE)
and Master of Science Agricultural Engineering (MSAE) with three
specializations. Beginning SY 2003-2004. The department, in
support of the overall program of the Land Administration and
Management and Natural Resources (DENR), offers the Bachelor
of Science in Geodetic and Geomatics Engineering (BSGGE).
Because of its good physical and manpower resources to carry-out
its functions in instruction, research and extention, and the
high educational standards that maintained quality graduates
as attested by the excellent performance of graduates in the
Professional Board Examination for Agricultural Engineering,
the department was recognized in 2000 by the Commission on Higher
Education (CHED) as one of the country's Center of Excellence
in Agricultural Engineering Program.
