Counseling Unit
The Counseling Unit provides services for individualized and group guidance in order to increase student's self-understanding, self-direction and responsibility. Thus, it provides assistance that would help students cope with the demand of student life and strengthen their resolve in the pursuit of their chosen career.
Objectives:
1. To help students become aware of their aptitudes, abilities, interests, personalities and other needs, and
2. To provide students opportunities that are geared towards their total personal development and make them become well-rounded individuals.
Programs and services:

Conduct annual orientation program for freshmen students;

Counseling of students with academic problems;

Administer psychological and qualifying examinations

Establish with industries and profession organization as prospective employers of the VSU graduates;

Organize and maintain department- or college-based guidance facilitators and campus ministers;

Train and organize peer student facilitators; and
-
Update student's profile

Establish reproductive health youth-based (R-HUB) center
