RESEARCH ASSISTANT
(Immediate Hiring)

Major Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the management of the cassava germplasm presevation and the NCT varietal evaluation
2. Assist in the planning and implementation of the cassava breeding (selection of parental genotypes, hybridization and evaluation of progenies)
3. Assist in the nursery management of NSIC cassava varieties for distribution to clienteles
4. Do statistical analyses of results, and make regular reports to the project leader and to the Office of Director of Research

Desired Qualifications:

1. B.S. Agriculture graduate preferably major in Plant Breeding
2. Passed the Agricultural Licensure Examination or graduated with Latin Honor for new graduates
3. Hardworking and with good scholastic records
