VSU key officials take oath as new members of region eight administrators league

The other VSU officials include Dr. Othello B. Capuno, VP for Research and Extension; Dr. Edgardo E. Tulin, VP for Planning and Resource Generation; Dr. Lourdes B. Cano, Director for Administration and Human Resource Development; Ms. Roberta C. Lemos, Director for Finance; and Prof. Alan B. Loreto, Executive Officer.

Prior to the oath-taking ceremony, the group attended the First General Assembly and the Continuing Leadership Seminar organized by REAL.

Anchored on the theme "REAL Inc.: Leading the way towards the achievement of PNoy's Five Priority Areas," the occasion was graced by Hon. Florencio B. Abad, DBM Secretary.

The Assembly gathered some 150 heads and officials of the different government agencies, government owned and controlled corporations, state universities and colleges, local government units and other agencies throughout Eastern Visayas. It aimed at establishing and sustaining strong partnerships and collaboration among its members and stakeholders to carry out agencies' functions at the most efficient, transparent and accountable manner.

The participants were engrossed with the different topics presented during the technical sessions as follows: Transformational Leadership, PNoy's 5 Priority Areas, and Aligning the Regional Development Plan with PNoy's 5 Key Result Areas.
