Palermo places 10th in June 2018 agriculture board exams

Viscan Mr. Ronald Goliat Palermo makes it to the top 10 of the June 2018 board exam for agriculturists.

Palermo, who graduated BS in Agriculture major in Plant Breeding, Class of 2017, is one of the 43 Viscans who passed the Licensure Examination for Agriculture held from June 24 to 26, 2018.

Visayas State University registered an institutional passing rate of 60.56%, way above the 38.14 national passing rate for the June 2018 examinations. According to the Professional Regulation Commission, a total of 4,428 took the exams, where 1,689 passed.

Palermo is currently connected with the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center of Eastern Visayas (ATI-RTC8), based at VSU, as a technical assistant.

Agriculture is the flagship program of Visayas State University, one of the leading agricultural schools in the country, along with University of the Philippines Los Baños and Central Luzon State University.
