The Gov. Petilla Most Outstanding Graduating Student Award is given every year to the graduating student who had best exemplified excellence in curricular and extra-curricular activities.

Besides the medal, Tulin received P20,000 each from the Metrobank Foundation and the Philippine National Bank Financial Center.

Tulin stood out among two nominees in academic performance, extra- and co-curricular activities, community involvement, and leadership and communication skills. The two nominees were Irish Jane Calungsod, a BS Development Communication major, and BS Geodetic Engineering graduate Arnil Al Castañares.

As an exchange student at the Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology in 2014, Tulin said the experience had helped her conceive her future plans. She looks forward to earning her license as a chemist and her Masters studies in Japan or Europe.

Tulin graduated magna cum laude after garnering a GPA of 1.207. She topped 81 students who graduated with Latin honors.
