All new students are required to pass the VSU College Admission Test (CAT) to be eligible for enrollment. Each degree program follows a quota in terms of admitted students. The university reserves the right to accept or reject any applicant whose qualifications do not meet the requirements of the program s/he intends to pursue. If a new student is deemed qualified in the degree program s/he intends to pursue, s/he can begin enrolling following the schedule provided by the Registrar’s Office.

If all requirements are ready including basic medical tests, a new student can finish enrollment in less than a day.

Continuing students, on the other hand, will follow a different registration schedule as approved in the Academic Calendar. If they don’t have academic and monetary deficiencies, they can proceed with online enrollment without the need to be personally present in VSU. Other continuing students with academic and monetary deficiencies will have to go through manual enrollment, which can also be accomplished in less than a day.

For the specific enrollment procedure for the upcoming semester, check the Announcements section of the website.

Note: The selection of qualified test-takers will be based on the score in the VSUCAT (70%) and the GPA (30%). (VSU Board of Regents Resolution No. 20, s. 2019).
