The Visayas State University (VSU) has taken a bold step in making higher education more accessible to students who often face the steepest challenges in pursuing a college degree.

Through Board Resolution No. 32, s. 2021, the university approved the implementation of the Affirmative Action Program (AAP) for State Universities and Colleges in Eastern Visayas (SUCs-8), beginning in the first semester of SY 2021–2022.

The Visayas State University (VSU) has reached a historic milestone by securing a Certificate Program Compliance (COPC) from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) for all its undergraduate and graduate programs across the VSU system. This means that all 101 programs are now fully CHED-compliant.
