Visayas State University (VSU) faculty-artists served as official adjudicators in various contests at the 12th Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC)-National Culture and the Arts Festival (NCAF), the most comprehensive culture and the arts competition in the Philippines, that ran from April 6 to 12, 2026 in Iloilo City.

A remarkable milestone unfolded during the recently concluded AbanTeknolohiya 3.0 on April 15–16, 2026, as Visayas State University (VSU) renewed strategic partnerships with three key business organizations in Eastern Visayas for another five years.

The Philippine-American Educational Foundation (PAEF) (Fulbright Philippines) tapped Visayas State University (VSU) as one of 22 partner higher education institutions (HEIs) nationwide to take part in the Consortium for Study Abroad in the Philippines (CSAP) launched alongside the 78th Anniversary of PAEF and the Higher Education Partnership Ceremony last March 24.
