In its ongoing work to reshape veterinary education in the Philippines, Visayas State University (VSU) opened its doors for the workshop on Classroom and Clinical Teaching in Veterinary Medical Education.

VSU recently welcomed its new international students from Mendel University in Brno, Czech Republic, with a week of activities from March 24-28, 2025. The International Affairs and Relations Office (IARO) organized several events to help the students settle in and get familiar with university life.

Greetings of peace and solidarity to everyone, especially to the VSU key officials; the 6th VSU President and former Director of the Philippine Root Crops Research and Training Center (PhilRootcrops), Dr. Edgardo E. Tulin; former Dean of the Graduate School, Dr. Anabella Tulin; retired faculty members who are the pillars of the PhilRootcrops; the current PhilRootcrops Director, Mr. Marlon Tambis; our partners from the National Seed Industry-Bureau of Plant Industry, and National Cooperative Testing; PhilRootcrops faculty and staff, guests who are joining us, a pleasant Thursday morning.

The VSU Faculty of Nursing (FON) has officially partnered with 1Nurse to provide enhanced review resources for nursing students preparing for the Philippine Nurse Licensure Examination (PNLE).

VSU has further strengthened its international collaborations by formalizing its partnership with the Korea Campus Crusade for Christ (KCCC), an organization dedicated to cross-cultural leadership and discipleship development.
