In preparation for the offering of its Doctor of Medicine program, Visayas State University (VSU) continues to build strong partnerships with local hospitals to serve as training grounds for its future medical students.

In its ongoing work to reshape veterinary education in the Philippines, Visayas State University (VSU) opened its doors for the workshop on Classroom and Clinical Teaching in Veterinary Medical Education.

The VSU Faculty of Nursing (FON) has officially partnered with 1Nurse to provide enhanced review resources for nursing students preparing for the Philippine Nurse Licensure Examination (PNLE).

VSU recently welcomed its new international students from Mendel University in Brno, Czech Republic, with a week of activities from March 24-28, 2025. The International Affairs and Relations Office (IARO) organized several events to help the students settle in and get familiar with university life.
