AS IT HAPPENS: The Investiture of Dr. Edgardo E. Tulin as 6th VSU President

BAYBAY CITY, Leyte — On Wednesday, January 27, 2016, the Visayas State University will formally install its new President in an Investiture Ceremony to be held at the University Gymnatorium.

University Professor Dr. Edgardo E. Tulin took over as University President in November 2015, succeeding Dr. Jose L. Bacusmo's eight-year term. The VSU Board of Regents elected Dr. Tulin in October 24 during its board meeting in Manila.

The Invesititure is a formal ceremony where the faculty, students and guests come together as an academic community to recognize the new leadership. Former President Bacusmo will also pass on symbols of leadership to President Tulin during this event.
