About the Program

The Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECEd) is one of the new programs of the College of Education. It is a four-year program that equips students for both the art and science of teaching children from 3 - 8 years old. BECEd offers a solid foundation on developmentally suitable practices in effective early childhood care and education. The program culminates with an extensive teaching internship in various Kindergarten schools both public and private, under the mentorship of experienced cooperating teachers and professional education supervisors.
