VSU and VisayasMed Hospital Cebu have solidified a significant partnership through signing a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on March 3, 2025, which designates VisayasMed as the base hospital for VSU’s forthcoming College of Medicine.

After coveting the championship title last year, VSU physically and mentally prepared 424 Viscan delegates for the biggest and most-awaited regional collegiate sporting event—the 38th Regional State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (SCUAA-8) Games in Eastern Visayas.

A distinguished group of faculty and alumni from the VSU Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FVM) participated and presented papers at the 92nd Philippine Veterinary Medical Association (PVMA) Scientific Conference and Annual Convention, held at the SMX Convention Center, Davao City on February 19 to 21, 2025.

Mr. Christian Vie Baldonado, the dean of the College of Nursing, won the Best Oral Presentation award in the 2nd National Research Congress organized by the Universidad de Zamboanga to celebrate its 76th Founding Anniversary.
