Right after the blessing of the Center by Rev. Fr. Martin Ando M. Bañoc, Holy Spirit Parish Priest, as celebrant, a press conference with the DOE Secretary was held wherein Sec. Petilla wittily responded to the questions raised by some media practitioners as to the programs and activities initiated by the DOE under his administration.  A question was also thrown about his future plans after his term as DOE Secretary.

Sec. Petilla just spent more than an hour at the RERC as he was immediately flown by his helicopter to Baybay City proper for an equally important event.  JFMBaldos
