The VSU Graduate School sent two doctoral students to attend the University Consortium Summer School program hosted by the National Taiwan University (NTU).

The VSU Department of Biotechnology welcomed the research team of Professor Dr. Jiro Nakayama from Kyushu University in Japan who visited the university for their follow-up study under the Asian Microbiome Project (AMP).

In a significant move towards strengthening inter-university collaboration and enhancing agricultural education and research, the Visayas State University signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with three state universities and colleges, namely Dr. Emilio B. Espinosa Sr. Memorial State College of Agriculture and Technology (DEBESMSCAT), Sorsogon State University (SorSU), and Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology (ASSCAT).

With the generous offer of the DCV Industrial Controls Enterprise, a marketing company that supplies agricultural equipment, their team visited VSU to share their expertise and technologies in a demonstration of the latest agricultural machinery with our 120 agriculture students.

Dr. Jannet C. Bencure, the Dean of the VSU College of Engineering and Technology served as one of the collaborators and resource persons in an eight-day geospatial and data analytics training program at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand.
