The Visayas State University-Culture and the Arts Office (VSU-CAO) brought home fresh perspectives on contemporary artmaking after joining young creatives from across the country at the Sanghaya 2025: National Youth Literary Festival, held July 30 to August 1 at Camarines Norte State College (CNSC).

Gulles, faculty member of the Department of Civil Engineering at Visayas State University (VSU), earned the Best Presentation Award during the 4th International Joint Student Seminar on One Health, One World (OHOW) held at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand on July 31, 2025.

Visayas State University (VSU) suspended work and classes on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, after heavy rains triggered flooding in parts of the main campus and nearby barangays, forcing the evacuation of around 500 students.

Visayas State University (VSU) will officially implement Carless/Motorless Wednesdays starting September 3, 2025, in both the upper and lower campuses from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
