About the Program

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the Visayas State University (VSU) started when it was offered as a Ladderized Program in June 2007 and later established as a Department in that same year.

On October 29, 2009, the VSU Board of Regents approved the creation of the College of Nursing. Over the years, the VSU College of Nursing has produced competitive graduates with consistent board performances above the national passing percentage in the Nurse Licensure Examinations. Currently recognized as a nursing school with Level II AACCUP accreditation status, the College aims to continue providing excellence in nursing education in compliance with the standards of the Commission on Higher Education.
