Esteemed Dr. Prose Ivy Yepes, The President of Visayas State University (VSU), Respected Vice Presidents, Board of regents, Faculty deans, faculty members, proud parents, well-wishers, friends and you my dear graduates of class 2025, a very good afternoon to you all.

To our esteemed University President, Dr. Prose Ivy G. Yepes; our distinguished Commencement Speaker, Dr. Jose V. Camacho, Chancellor of the University of the Philippines Los Baños; Dr. Rotacio S. Gravoso, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Marilyn M. Belarmino, Director of Graduate Education; Dr. Moises Neil V. Seriño, Vice President for Administration and Finance; Ms. Hazelle V. Asaldo, University and Board Secretary; Dr. Roberto C. Guarte, VSU Alumni Association President, represented by Engr. Manolo B. Loreto Jr.; Rev. Fr. Dexter A. Sescon, our celebrant for the invocation; Hon. Jose Carlos L. Cari, Mayor of the City of Baybay represented by Attorney Romel Peñaranda; our respected faculty members, department heads, deans, and advisers; fellow graduates, beloved families, proud parents, cherished guests, and to our online viewers who are joining us virtually—good morning, and thank you for celebrating this significant milestone with us.

To our University President, Dr. Prose Ivy Guasa-Yepes, the VP for Academic Affairs Dr. Rotacio S. Gravoso, VP for Student Affairs and Services, Dr. Aleli A. Villocino, deans, faculty and staff, family and guests, and my fellow graduates, a pleasant morning. We are gathered here to celebrate a monumental chapter for the graduating class. Abi jud nakog dili nako ma stress basta nasubmit nas thesis and kompleto ng clearance, but as it turns out naa pa diay pahabol, I am tasked to write a speech that resonates in everyone that is watching. Though make no mistake, I am very flattered.

To the President of Visayas State University, Dr. Prose Ivy Yepes; members of the Board of Regents; distinguished administrators, faculty, and staff; proud parents and families; and most importantly, to the Graduate Education Class of 2025- congratulations, and good morning to all of you!

Two students will lead VSU Class of 2025 not just in academic rank but in how they have used their education to engage with communities and bring attention to issues that matter.
