Team VSU brought home 99 medals from the recently concluded Regional State Colleges and Universities Athletics Association (SCUAA-8) Games at Naval State University, in Biliran, October 23-28.

Winning 41 gold, 42 silver, and 16 bronze medals, Team VSU was hailed first in Team Sports ranking and landed Third in the Individual and Double Sports events. This year's medal count is higher than last year's where Team VSU bagged 29 gold, 34 silver, and 26 bronze medals.

VSU players who won in this year's games will be chosen to represent the region in the national SCUAA games in 2017.
