Mr. Ismael Aya-ay, a 1980 BS in Agricultural Development Education (BSADE) major in Development Communication graduate of the then ViSCA, was installed on May 22, 2012 as the new Provincial Agrarian Reform Officer II (PARO II) of Biliran.

 

Aya-ay, designated PARO II last May 8, 2012 by DAR Secretary Virgilio de los Reyes, replaced Elisea Orapa who was transferred to Southern Leyte. He was sworn into office by DAR Regional Director Eliasem Castillo.

A Career Executive Service eligible, Aya-ay was chief of the Beneficiaries Development Coordinating Division (BDCD) and was a designated PARO I prior to his new post.

He joined DAR in 1983 as Agrarian Reform Technologist, and was promoted to Municipal Agrarian Reform Officer (MARO) during the reorganization of the Department in 1989.

With this movement of officials, the Secretary likewise designated the MARO of Naval, Noel Salloman, as chief of the BDCD in concurrent capacity and Leonora Asaldo as chief of the Operations Division both for the province of Biliran. They were installed to their new posts simultaneously with Aya-ay.
