Course-related Organization

Participate in the activities of the Philippine Society of Agricultural Engineers-VSU Chapter, an organization of Agricultural Engineering students at VSU. Meet new friends, and learn in an exciting way outside the four walls of the classroom.By joining the organization, you will have a support group who can help you get by with your studies at VSU, as well as the opportunity to participate in national scientific conferences.

Provide excellent instruction, conduct relevant research and foster community engagement that produce highly competent graduates necessary for the development of the country.

Goals

    1. Develop a strong and dynamic faculty and staff in agricultural engineering.
    2. Excellent and relevant undergraduate and graduate education in agricultural engineering.
    3. Appropriate knowledge and technologies relevant to the conservation,management and utilization of agricultural engineering resources.
    4. Dynamic linkages with the private sector for the promotion of instruction, research, extension programs in agricultural engineering and allied fields.
    5. Functional awareness and public advocacy on conservation,protection, management and utilization of agricultural engineering resources.
    6. Sustained linkages among the various units within the university with external agencies concerned with recent developments in agricultural engineering.

Objectives

    1. To produce quality manpower in agricultural engineering.
    2. To generate appropriate knowledge and technologies for the conservation, protection, management and utilization of agricultural engineering resources.
    3. To attain high level of acceptability and adoption of appropriate and sustainable technologies to the well-being of the target clientele.
    4. To achieve lasting linkages and cooperation with local, national, and international institutions and agencies involved in the conservation,protection, management and utilization of agricultural engineering resources.
