Visayas State University (VSU) has been singled out by the University of Ghent (UGent) in Belgium as a partner for the Institutional University Cooperation Project (IUCP). Recently, university officials met with the Belgian professors to discuss how the program will be implemented in the coming years.

#ProudViscan Reyno Vicente S. Guirindola, a graduating agriculture student joined the 2024 Summer Enrichment Program, a training to broaden knowledge in agriculture through immersing students in the latest agricultural practices, innovation, and technologies in Asian countries.

Following the implementation of the project “Digitization and Access to VSU Library Filipiniana Resources” funded by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), VSU Learning Commons (VSU Library) officially introduced the now digitized Filipiniana books to Viscans.

Ms. Adonna C. Nilo, a junior Bachelor of Science in Development Communication (BSDC) student, is the first #ProudViscan recipient of the Community Journalism Scholarship Grant from the Rosario Braid Scholarship Fund, Incorporated (RBSFI).
