Delivered during the State of the University Address on October 4, 2024, at the VSU Gymnatorium.

VSU's newly created Department of Arts, Languages, and Literature (DALL) has partnered with the Regional English Language Office (RELO) of the United States Department of State to advance English language teaching through different programs.

To equip Viscan student nurses with vital life-saving skills for emergency medical situations, the VSU College of Nursing, in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross Hilongos Chapter, conducted comprehensive training in First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS)—Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) at the university.

Associate Professor Dr. Janet Alexis A. De los Santos remains the lone VSU faculty listed in the World’s Top 2% Scientists published by Elsevier on September 16, 2024.
