Prof. Prose Ivy Guasa Yepes, EdD, is a distinguished leader in the field of science education and management who was newly appointed on March 11, 2024, as the 7th President of the Visayas State University (VSU). Known for her dedication to academic excellence and progressive leadership, Dr. Yepes brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of transformative achievements.

Dr. Jannet C. Bencure, the Dean of the VSU College of Engineering and Technology served as one of the collaborators and resource persons in an eight-day geospatial and data analytics training program at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand.

As the university opens a brand new school year, around 300 newly hired faculty members across the five campuses of the Visayas State University system gather at the RDE Hall today, August 12, 2024.

All graduating students across the Visayas State University system will receive their diploma and their Transcript of Records (TOR) on their graduation day. This is the commitment of VSU President Prof. Dr. Prose Ivy G. Yepes to the graduating Class of 2024.
