In celebration of Pride Month and showcasing Bohol’s weaving traditions last June, an instructor from VSU Institute of Human Kinetics (IHK) shared his research on Saguran-Raffia weaving, Bohol’s unique and traditional weaving art.

It is a great feat of the VSU participants from the Integrated High School (VSUIHS) as all four of them were conferred with best oral presentation awards at the 11th International Conference for Science Educators and Teachers (ISET) 2024.

VSU One-stop-shop Admissions Enrollment Process

For a centralized enrollment process for the newest #ProudViscans, the VSU Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs and Services (OVPSAS) designed the “one-stop-shop” initiative for seamless registration.

Four junior agribusiness students composed of Eugene Aquino, Allan Capa, Darah Lyn Jandayan, and Kirk Lowel Pajanustan brought home a PhP 20,000 cash prize after securing the first runner-up title in the Youth Leaders of Agribusiness Congress (YLAC) 2024 case study competition.

2024 GO Ocfemia Outstanding Plant Pathologist Award

Dr. Robelyn T. Piamonte, Head of the Department of Pest Management (DPM) and Head of the Plant Disease Diagnostic Laboratory (PDDL) is a recipient of the 2024 Gerardo O. Ocfemia Outstanding Plant Pathologist Award in Instruction by the Philippine Phytopathological Society, Inc. (PPS).
