VSU's performance in the 2016 Forestry Licensure Examination has improved from last year's passing rate. 

Results from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) revealed that VSU's passing rate raised from 60% last year to 68.42% after 39 of 57 takers passed the exam on September 13-14. Last year, 21 passed the exam out of 35 takers from VSU.

Meanwhile, 633 out of 1,370 takers nationwide are now licensed foresters, PRC said.
