The annual search for Mr. and Ms. SCUAA-8 2016 had just concluded. This year, 10 pairs of guys and gals from different participating schools vied for the prestigious title in a battle of beauty and brains.

Here’s a look at the pageant night’s highlights with our representatives Gabriel Rustia and Susan Mitchell.

The Reveal. Mr. Leonel L. Cuyo of Samar State University (SSU) and Ms. Northlen T. Serilles of Palompon Institute of Technology (PIT) declared as 2nd runners-up.

1st Runners-Up. Mr. Paul Leonard A. Balame of host school Naval State University (NSU) and Ms. Venisse Charm C. Costibolo of Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU).

King and Queen. Leyte Normal University’s (LNU) Mr. Jhon Raymond C. Orejola and University of Eastern Philippines’ (UEP) Ms. Sheila Las Marias crowned as Mr. and Ms. SCUAA 2016.
