VSU joins Basura Run 2017

VSU, through its Alumni Community Relations Office, and Team SCRAMBLED LEGS, an organization of runners in Baybay City, holds the Basura Run 2017 around the VSU campus, September 2.
Basura Run is a fun run advocating a wider practice in proper waste disposal. This is the second Basura Run conducted in Baybay City this year.
Some 30 environment conservation advocates, professional runners, and running enthusiasts participated in the event. Members of the Alpha Phi Omega fraternity at VSU also participated in the fun run.
The runners collected trash while they ran along a designated route around the upper campus of VSU.
The Basura Run is conducted every first Saturday of the month.
