#ProudViscan Dr. Guiraldo “Junjun” C. Fernandez, Jr. represented VSU by presenting the research success of rainforestation–a farming initiative originally developed by VSU together with the German Agency for Technical Cooperation (GTZ) in the 1990s.

VSU remains to be the Top 8 university in the country according to the January 2023 edition of the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities. Globally, VSU climbed 15 spots higher from 4,128th place in July 2022 to 4,113th rank in the most recent evaluation.

VSU flag has been raised once more as two #ProudViscans joined the club of the Viscan board topnotchers for this school year.
Jane D. Entuna and Sherwin E. Quiño made it to the top 10 cut in the October 2022 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET), wherein Entuna landed 8th in the secondary level and Quiño placed 10th in the elementary level.
