Mallari, former President of Tarlac State University (TSU) and past head of the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), has been designated as the new Chairperson of the Visayas State University (VSU) Governing Board. She succeeds Dr. Ethel Agnes P. Valenzuela, whose term as Commissioner has concluded.
