A total of 59 #ProudViscans from Visayas State University Tolosa (VSU Tolosa) are now licensed criminologists after passing the August 2025 Licensure Examination for Criminologists.

Dr. Roger Roque E. Bustamante of the Department of Animal Science, Visayas State University (VSU), bagged the Best Paper Award at the 2025 SUC-ACAP, Inc. Biennial Conference and General Assembly for his research on processing strategies to improve the tenderness and value-added uses of Darag Philippine native chicken.

The Visayas State University-Faculty of Nursing (VSU-FON), together with its faculty members, FON Supreme Student Council (FON-SSC), and the Visayas State University Nightingale Society (ViSUNS), joined the 2025 Operation Bigay Lunas (OBL) medical mission in Baybay City on September 5, 2025.
