The Visayas State University (VSU), through its National Coconut Research Center–Visayas (NCRC-V), is set to expand its food processing capacity with the proposed installation of a new steam retort facility under the Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI) Shared Service Facilities (SSF) Project. 

Visayas State University (VSU) further cemented its presence in the global academic stage as three of its master’s students were accepted into highly selective international programs in Indonesia and Japan. 

The Visayas State University (VSU) has entered into a partnership with Verde Carbon Capture, Inc. (VCCI) to pioneer a large-scale project that targets methane reduction in rice production areas of Leyte and Bohol.
