A business icon to speak during the 60th VSU Commencement Exercises

Mr. Petilla will be inspiring some 933 graduating students of the Visayas State University as he might be sharing his secrets how he become successful as a businessman.

The commencement speaker is a graduate of a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Ateneo de Manila University and a degree in Accounting at the Philippine School of Business Administration.

Presently, he is the Chief Executive Officer and President of a multi-national corporation engaged in business process outsourcing since 1989 working with around 3,500 employees mostly in the Philippines holding offices in Atlanta, US Virgin Island, United Kingdom, Netherlands, and Bosnia.

Aside from his job as a businessman, the guest speaker is also a programmer and an IT specialist which includes data security based on ISO27001 or the Information Security Management Standard.

He is happily married to Anna Sharon Cabredo-Petilla with whom he has four children—Daniel Dominic, Ellian Nicolas, Sophia Isabel, and Angelo Leonardo.
