TPMS 2023

VSU, through the Visayas Consortium for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources (ViCARP) - Regional Agri-Aqua Innovation System Enhancement (RAISE) Program in Eastern Visayas organized the first-ever re-echo mentorship series to train its consortium member institutions on the effective way of promoting their technology or product to potential investors and customers.

The five-day Technology Promotion Mentorship Series (TPMS) that ran from May 15 to 19, 2023 centered on the concept of using apt communication strategies and digital marketing for technology promotion.

Trainees of the hybrid TPMS were able to produce techno posters, develop storylines, create Facebook business pages, craft technology pitch decks, and design production schedules at the end of the training program.

DOST-PCAARRD Technology Transfer Promotion Division (TTPD) Director Noel Catibog graced the training virtually and congratulated the RAISE-8 Program for the successful conduct of the 1st RAISE TPMS in Eastern Visayas. He believes that this TPMS workshop will help deepen engagement with our consortium partners.

He also announced the approval of RAISE Batch 2, here in a total of 14 regions and now 94 participating agencies for the RAISE Program. He is certain that the Eastern Visayas will always come out on top, nonetheless.
