Visayas State University (VSU) continues to establish its name in the global science and engineering arena as #ProudViscan innovators made an impressive debut at the 7th International Conference on Automation, Mechatronics, and Robotics (ICAMEROB 2025) held in Boracay Island, Malay, Aklan on September 24–26, 2025.

Visayas State University (VSU) once again etched its name among the nation’s finest institutions after achieving a 100% passing rate in the September 2025 Geodetic Engineer Licensure Examination (GELE) administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) last September 29–30, 2025.

Visayas State University’s Department of Biological Sciences (VSU-DBS) has partnered with the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Region VIII (BFAR 8) to roll out the “ALWAN” (C30) Method, a citizen science–based approach to monitoring coral reefs. 

The Visayas State University (VSU) and the University of the Philippines-Los Baños (UPLB) have formally entered into a partnership to conduct scientific studies on caves in Calubian, Leyte, with the goal of advancing biodiversity conservation and guiding sustainable ecotourism in the municipality.
