The 4th Global Agribusiness Management and Entrepreneurship (GAME 2024) Conference and Expo is a prestigious annual event dedicated to the future of agribusiness. 

To integrate sustainable science and green chemistry into the curriculum, VSU Tolosa, through the Department of Arts and Sciences, partners with Beyond Benign, a non-profit organization that promotes green chemistry education to achieve a sustainable future across the globe.

The Visayas State University College of Nursing (VSCN) triumphs at the recently concluded Regional Health Research Symposium (RHRS), securing multiple top honors in the student category. 

Visayas State University (VSU), along with 13 other universities, is now part of a pioneering consortium led by Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) to map and benchmark sustainability initiatives through the SDG Impact Dashboard Project. 

Not only a part of the registered Philippine herbaria, VSU Botanic Garden Herbarium is also listed in the worldwide index of herbaria, which is the Index Herbariorum.

Dr. Dennis P. Peque, a professor and former dean of the VSU College of Forestry and Environmental Science (CFES), is hailed as an Outstanding Professional Forester for Region VIII by the Society of Filipino Foresters, Inc. (SFFI).

To conserve different species from extinction, VSU sent two Visayan flora and biodiversity experts to participate in the second national workshop on updating the Philippine key biodiversity areas (KBAs) or identified marine and terrestrial sites where organisms inhabit.
