When Dina C. Capua walks across the stage to receive her diploma from the Visayas State University (VSU) Main Campus on July 25, 2025, she will be carrying more than just the weight of six years of academic struggle. She will also be carrying the dreams of the Mamanwa tribe and the silent hopes of many indigenous youths who have long believed that a college education was never meant for them. 

On July 14, 2025, Visayas State University (VSU) officially turned over 18 brand-new 65-inch Interactive Flat Panel Displays to select faculties and departments during the Workshop on the Preparation of Programs for AUN-QA Assessment. This forms part of the university’s broader effort to modernize classroom instruction through digital tools.

The VSU Main Campus in Baybay City, Leyte proudly recognizes the 332 students graduating with Latin Honors in its 72nd Commencement Exercises this year. Among them, 291 are Cum Laude, 40 will be awarded Magna Cum Laude, and one student has earned the highest academic honor, Summa Cum Laude.
