Engr. Eldon De Padua, a faculty member of the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering at Visayas State University (VSU), brought pride to the university after sweeping major awards in the 2025 Kobe University Comprehensive Course on Research Proposal Writing and Oral Presentation.

The Visayas State University-Department of Biological Sciences (VSU-DBS) continues to build on its growing work in marine biology, joining the 18th Philippine Association of Marine Science (PAMS) National Symposium held from July 10 to 12, 2025, at the University of the Philippines Cebu.
