This time as Outstanding Woman Social Entrepreneur in Southeast Asia given to her during the first ever Women of Future (WOF) Awards for Entrepreneurship held in Hilton Hotel Singapore on March 20, 2018.

The Zoological Society of London (ZSL) through the Zoological Society of the Philippines (ZSP) forged a partnership with the VSU Institute for Tropical Ecology and Environmental Management (ITEEM) in offering scholarship grants to deserving students taking up forestry, tropical ecology and environmental science programs in both graduate and undergraduate levels.

Over 60 children with exceptionalities joined together for a Special Education (SPED) Day Camp organized by MAPEH 119 students on March 20, 2018 at the VSU Gymnatorium.

Dr. Dindo A. Campilan, VSU alumnus and Director for Asia of the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (Centro Internacional Agricultural Tropical, CIAT) served as the guest speaker of the culminating activity of the eight-year anniversary celebration of the College of Management and Economics (CME). This was held at the VSU Convention Center on March 2, 2018.

As part of the 8th year anniversary celebration of the College of Management and Economics (CME), a seminar on Republic Act (RA) 10963 or the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) law was held at the RDE Hall on February 28, 2018.
